Create a new file

You can create a new PHP, HTML, XHTML, CSS, WML, ASP, XML, Perl or other document from scratch or instant template.

To create an empty file

1. On the File menu, click New.
2. Click the type of the document you wish to create
3. Click OK.

To create new file from a template

1. On the File menu, click New from Template.
2. In the New from Template window locate and click template you wish to use for your new document.
3. Click OK.

 Notes

• To create an empty document of the default type (specified in Preferences), just click New on the toolbar.
• You can use an arrow near toolbar button New , to quickly create an empty file of a specific type.
